ITB  Institut Technik und Bildung  Institute Technology and Education  Member  Leitidee der Berufsbildungsforschung des ITB sind die Analyse, Gestaltung und Evaluation des Wechselverhältnisses von Arbeit, Technik und Bildung. Sie ist in fünf Forschungsfeldern verankert: (1) Arbeit und Technik, (2) berufswissenschaftliche Kompetenzforschung, (3) berufliches Lernen und Lehren, (4) vorberufliche Bildung und Ãœbergänge sowie (5) kompetenzorientierte Berufsbildungssysteme.  interaction between work and technology, vocational competence research, vocational learning and teaching, pre-vocational education and transitions, competence-oriented vocational training systems

Expertise		 The focal points of the scientific work are vocational education and training research with the subject areas of initial and continuing vocational education and training, occupations and vocational education and training systems on the one hand and their exclusion and exclusion, transitions, prerequisites and alternatives on the other. The guiding principle of research is the analysis, design and evaluation of the interrelationship between technology, work and education. Pre-vocational education, educational and work transitions, initial and continuing vocational education and training, occupations and vocational training systems are not only looked at analytically, but are actively shaped by research and conditions and effects (impact) are empirically recorded.
